Neighborhood Open Streets SF

Sunday Streets closes neighborhood streets to cars so people can enjoy a large, temporary, public space where they can bike, walk, run, dance, do yoga, or other such physical activities. It’s like a giant FREE block party! Non-profit organizations have booths in “activity hubs” where they offer free activities.  Sunday Streets are pet friendly too.

These neighborhood events will be held on Sundays from 3/10/19 – 10/20/19 between 11 am-4 pm.  We’ve found that many start slowly but the action builds after 12 pm.  Reminders will also be provided on the hiddenSF.com Best Events Page.

Here are some local streets which are closed to automobile traffic on Sundays all year round:

• Golden Gate Park, JFK Drive
• Bicycle Sundays, Canada Road, San Mateo
