The Nile Cafe
In downtown Niles, Fremont CA
Some of the best gourmet sandwiches around. Good lattes too. Very nice service and an interesting Nile (Egyptian) decor. You can tell it’s family run.
Cash only but the prices are reasonable, especially for breakfast. Dog friendly with two tables out front and a patio in back.
We purchased a loaf of their homemade bread ($5.50) which tasted as good toasted at home as it was on their Niles Mutt sandwich (Turkey, pastrami and ham stacked high with cheddar, Swiss and provolone on toasted bread).
