The fantastic beach view from the little balcony alone makes this one of my very favorite coffee shops in the entire SF Bay area.
Mr. Toots is quaint, old-fashioned (having been in the same second floor location for 26 years), comfortable, usually uncrowded, and has decent organic coffee. Sometimes their local pastries (e.g., coffee cake) are excellent too though sometimes not later in the day.
