Enjoy vinyl booths & counter stools and the old chrome jukeboxes playing 1950’s music. The atmosphere is so authentic it is often used as a set in period movies and commercials.
This nifty little diner is great for breakfast or a very late night snack. Their waffles are outstanding, even better than Mom used to make on her waffle iron. Prices & service are excellent too. However, the line to get in will sometimes back up during busy hours like Sunday breakfast. The shop is run by the owners themselves … just like in the good old days.
It’s Tops is located just west of Octavia Blvd on Market Street a reasonably short walk from Hayes Street or Castro Street.
