Harley Farms Goat Dairy
A restored and working 1910 dairy farm with 200 alpine goats on nine acres of pasture. The Harley Farms Shop, open daily, features their own award-winning cheeses, goat milk soaps and other treasures.
Harley Farms is open year-round for a two-hour, behind-the-fence weekend tour which follows the milk from goat to dairy and from curd to cheese. Tour members are allowed to go behind the fence to see the animals up close and pet the kids as well. The tour ends with a private cheese tasting in the beautifully restored hay loft that is also used for wedding celebrations and locally grown farm dinners. This $20 weekend tour is especially popular in January & February, when most of the goat kids are born, so advanced booking is recommended.
