Twin Pines Park
Belmont, CA
A quiet, woodsy, older park behind City Hall near El Camino & Ralston Ave. It’s good for a stroll but not a long hike. There are several buildings and community activities here including Twin Pines Art Center, Senior Center, Book Nook, the annual Hungarian Heritage Festival and Concerts By The Park.
A FREE Summer Concert Series are held here every summer on Sundays from 1 pm – 4 pm. The concert bands, funded by local businesses such as Oracle, are surprisingly good. It’s a pleasant, low key way to relax on Sunday afternoon. Bring your lawn chairs & dancing shoes. They have an inexpensive hot dog stand run by the local boosters club or you can get picnic supplies at the nearby Safeway on El Camino.
dogs: Permitted on leash.
