Toque Blanche Kitchen Shop, Half Moon Bay

If you are into cooking then this little kitchen shop, owned by a professional chef, is a delight. Though small it has an excellent variety of useful handpicked cooking ware that big shops somehow just don't. The staff is extremely knowledgeable & helpful with personal experience in using most of the utensils.

Location: 604 Main St, Half Moon Bay.

I live on the Peninsula and went over the hill to Half Moon Bay just last Saturday (4/9/11) to enjoy myself. My intent was to visit the wonderful nurseries along Hwy. 92, but I always make my trip count by going into downtown Half Moon Bay. This time they (Toque Blanche Kitchen Shop) had these wonderful brussel sprouts that were quartered I believe and cooked sorty of crunchy in olive oil and some sort of lemon spice seasoning. They were terrific! What a great way to get your veggies in!
