Redwood Shores Library

by Lucy
(Redwood Shores)

The new library near Oracle in Redwood Shores is a great place to spend a few hours browsing. This is my favorite place to spend lunch hour or a quiet weekend afternoon.

In back is a nice deck facing a marsh and hiking trails. Inside are Bay wildlife and aquarium exhibits.

They also have lots of books and movies, from "guilty pleasure" categories such as celebrity autobiographies to serious literature. If you want the latest book, you can also order it for $.75 and get an email when it's in.

Location: 399 Marine World Pkwy, Redwood City. Closed Friday.

Yes, this is a very good little library

Indeed, this is the nicest small library I've ever seen. Obviously some big bucks were spent. All sorts of exhibits and maps. Also a nice little deli facing to the back deck. Good place to bring kids or just relax.
