Precita Eyes Visitor Center
info about 24th St. Area & the local street art
For information about the many Chicano murals and wall paintings concentrated in this area visit the Precita Eyes Visitor Center. This is a non-profit organization promoting the local Chicano street mural art. They are very friendly and a good source of information about the entire area as well as the murals.
The visitor center provides tours of and sells maps locating many decorated alleys nearby, including Balmy Alley. Of course, dramatic street art can be seen just for the looking on many of the buildings along 24th Street too.
