Crystal Springs Regional Trail
This 15.3 mile nature trail is very popular with hikers, bicyclists and skaters. It begins in San Bruno and ends in the Town of Woodside … and lies just west of Highway 280 in the rift valley formed by the San Andreas Fault.
The San Mateo County Regional Trail consists of the following 3 segments:
- San Andreas – 2.6 miles beginning at San Bruno Ave & Skyline Blvd in San Bruno, following the eastern edge of San Andreas Lake, and ending at Hillcrest Blvd in Millbrae.
- Sawyer Camp – 6 mile segment beginning at Hillcrest Blvd & Hwy 280 in Millbrae, going south along the eastern edge of Crystal Springs Reservoir,and ending at Crystal Springs Rd & Skyline Blvd. in San Mateo.
- Crystal Springs – 6.7 mile segment beginning at Hwy 92 & Canada Rd and continuing south on the west side of Canada Road to the town of Woodside. Bicycle Sunday is a great way to see some of the spectacular views along this segment free of cars.
