Chez Mamas in Potrero Hill, SF

This is a small casual neighborhood French Bistro with excellent food and pleasant but slightly slow service (which is not all bad since it gives you time to soak up the atmosphere).

It has only two small tables plus 12-15 counter seats at the wine bar. Try the basic burger which is very good and French onion soup. Or, the crepes. Their chocolate mousse is quite tasty as well.

We hear that their somewhat bigger, more formal, & expensive sister restaurant, Chez Papa Bistrot just down the street at the corner of Missouri St, is good too.
