GoldStar Events offers a wide variety of half price tickets to theater, sports, shows, tours, attractions, bicycle rentals and more in San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland and most other large cities. There are even free comp tickets to events you might otherwise pay for.
How it Works: Click the GoldStar link to see what’s available. It’s free and just takes a minute. Tickets are usually listed a few weeks before the event date, so if you don’t see what you want check again later. They do sell out so don’t wait too long. top
Groupon – Daily SF Bay Area Coupons top
Groupon features good daily deals from local businesses, sometimes for up to 90% off. Once you quickly sign up they will email discount deals. Or you can come to this page and click on the image to the left. We like to keep an eye out for local restaurants (or other activities such as kayaking) that look interesting but not enough to pay full price.
How it Works: Groupon emails local specials such as, for example, a $25 gift certificate for $50 worth of food at a particular restaurant. This certificate is usually good for up to a year. Or just click here to get to Groupon and look up what you are searching for. top
